Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens in Pittsburgh is seeking an Event Sales Supervisor to support the Guest Service team with scheduling and management of Conservatory event sales, under the supervision of the Senior Event Sales Manager.

This temporary role emphasizes coordinating timelines, BEOs, floor plans, and client communications to ensure successful events while maintaining high guest service standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred in business or related field.
• Previous experience in event supervision, customer service or catering preferred.
• Must hold a Pennsylvania driver’s license and be insurable.
• RAMP certification within first month of employment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary staff person responsible for event sales of spaces within Conservatory.
• Prepare and maintain overall timelines for events.
• Manage event communications, BEOs, floor plans, contracting and CRM interactions.
• Coordinate with caterers, rental companies, musicians, etc., for logistics.
• On event day, provide onsite oversight and coordinate cleanup and damages.
• Direct event assistants during events.
• Develop relationships with departments involved in event sales.
• Maintain prompt communications with leads, clients, vendors and partners.
• Schedule appointments and meet with leads to view options.
