Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Georgia Gemalto background check prior to placement.
• Completion of required Substitute Training prior to beginning work.
• Acknowledgment and compliance with Griffin Spalding Employee Handbook required.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
• May work on an on-call or substitute basis with scheduling flexibility.
• Maintain a punctual, professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of instructional materials and learning environments.
• Support teachers in planning and delivering group and individual activities for diverse learners.
• Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional periods (transitions, lunch, recess).
• Provide one-on-one or small-group instructional support to reinforce skills.
• Assist with testing and evaluation activities to monitor progress.
• Contribute to enrichment or remedial support as needed.
• Maintain open, professional communication with teachers and staff.
