Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Emerald Family Medicine in Boise, ID is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant. You will perform MA duties, phlebotomy, immunizations, and assist with minor procedures within a busy family medicine team.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, MA program certification, and MA certification within 90 days of hire. BLS is required. Excellent communication and critical thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• New Graduates: MA certificate of completion from an accredited program and either externship or 6 months MA experience.
• MA certification required within 90 days of hire from Saint Alphonsus approved agencies: CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, NPCE MA.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, immunizations and injections.
• Assist with minor procedures and point-of-care tests.
• Complete tasks in the inbox and support a busy family medicine team.
• Collaborate with providers and other MAs in a fast-paced environment.
