Job summary

Brompton Heights in Williamsville, NY, is seeking a Full-Time Scheduler to support our nursing department and help ensure reliable staffing.

You will create and maintain nursing staff schedules, coordinate shifts, and communicate scheduling needs with staff, while handling last-minute call-outs and maintaining accurate attendance records.

Additionally, you may assist with recruiting, hiring, orientation and training of new employees, adapting to emergencies and shift swaps as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain nursing staff schedules
• Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
• Communicate with staff regarding scheduling needs and changes
• Assist with call-outs and last minute coverage
• Maintain accurate records of staff information, attendance, and scheduling changes
• Monitor staff availability, track attendance and manage call-ins to ensure adequate staffing levels and coverage
• Creatively addresses scheduling challenges, adapt to last-minute changes from call-ins or emergencies and assist with shift swaps
• Assists as needed with recruiting, hiring, orientation and training of new employees
