Gray Media, Inc. Hawaii is seeking a Producer for KHNL-TV/Gray Media’s Hawaii News Now operation. The role requires delivering energetic newscasts and engaging stories across platforms under tight deadlines, with a need to lead on-air and online storytelling efforts.

The ideal candidate has a journalism background, strong writing and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced market. Full-time position with varied shifts in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• College degree in journalism or related experience is required.
• Experience producing special reports and breaking news is a plus.
• Must be able to work extra hours, holidays, etc.

Responsibilities

• Produce a variety of newscasts.
• Work as line producer with anchors, live reporters and directors.
• Write clearly and lead the newsroom team under tight deadlines.
• Post stories to the station website and social media platforms.
