Job summary

APG in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant, Production and Distribution to support the Director with administrative and operational duties. Responsibilities include onboarding new clients, catalog transfers, takedowns, and managing payments and releases.

You should be highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Office, G Suite, and macOS, and comfortable with GenAI platforms. Experience with YouTube CMS is a plus and the role is a temp-to-hire opportunity in a fast-paced music environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, G Suite, and macOS.
• Highly organized with demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in tech-forward, GenAI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized filing of client agreements and related docs.
• Manage end-to-end new client onboarding, catalog transfer delivery, takedowns, and post-migration monitoring.
• Oversee Musixmatch relationship and upload lyrics for assets.
• Maintain internal tracking sheets for clearances, samples, and documentation.
• Upload new music videos to DSPs and assist with QC corrections.
• Optimize assets for YouTube discovery and performance.
• Review and resolve potential, disputed claims in YouTube CMS.
• Support third-party payment processing for contributors, including vendor setup.
• Submit audio and video releases to Luminate and assist with RIAA certification processes.
• Support BA team meetings, including scheduling and note-taking.
• Assist with BoxSign workflows and CEO signature procurement for label agreements.
• Contribute to internal Automation/AI research initiatives and tool adoption.
