Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Music Hall Bartender in Dallas, TX to provide friendly, efficient service at a busy music hall. You will mix and pour beverages, serve food, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have alcohol-awareness certification, strong cash handling skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. The role emphasizes safety, responsible service, and teamwork in a live music environment.

Qualifications

• Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent.
• Ability to work late hours.
• Flexible schedule.
• Cash handling experience.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Skill in interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Physically able to pass a pour test and a mixology drill (timed).
• Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner.
• Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanor.
• Cultivate regular guests and repeat business.
• Successfully complete a pour test prior to every shift, where applicable.
• Suggestively sell both beverages and menu items to guests at the bar.
• Deliver food items and beverage orders promptly.
• Prioritize and organize drink orders.
• Consistently prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, abide by all control systems.
• Record any equipment failure and/or safety hazards in bar log.
• Recognize when guests are becoming too intoxicated and refuse further service of alcohol in a courteous and safety-minded manner, bringing it to the attention of a manager.
• Maintain HOB safety and sanitation standards.
• Request proper identification for anyone appearing under 30 years of age.
• Prepare guest checks and process payment according to HOB policy.
• Maintain bartender bank.
• Perform cash pull / check out procedures.
• Maintain appropriate Comp and Spill checks.
• Occasionally work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue.
