Job summary

Rose Associates, Inc. in New York City seeks a dynamic Leasing Representative for our multifamily properties.

The Leasing Representative will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, responsible for showcasing available units, facilitating the leasing process, and ensuring a positive experience for applicants. You will conduct property tours, coordinate applications, perform background and credit checks per policy, and build strong relationships with residents and the management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
• 1 year of leasing or sales experience, preferably in multifamily residential properties.
• Knowledge of fair housing regulations and leasing practices.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, On-Site, iLuvLeasing) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units.
• Greet clients, assess needs, and respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and email.
• Process applications, gather documents, and conduct background/credit checks.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and the management team.
• Handle deposits and rent transactions accurately.
• Prepare lease agreements and ensure proper record-keeping.
• Coordinate with maintenance for resident requests and repairs.
