The successful candidate will lead instructional improvement, support family and community engagement, and collaborate with district leaders to uphold NJ standards and district policies.

Qualifications

• NJ Principal's Certificate required (Standard, Provisional, or CE).
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience.
• Knowledge/experience with middle school best practices (core academic areas and intervention).
• Knowledge/experience with master scheduling.
• Understanding of teacher observation/evaluation (Danielson).
• Ability to strengthen family and community engagement in a diverse middle school.
• Knowledge of school climate and restorative interventions.
• Ability to present building-based professional development.
• Knowledge of school law, assessment procedures, and NJ Student Learning Standards.
