Job summary

Moses Lake High School in Moses Lake, Washington is seeking an Assistant Middle School Swim & Dive coach for three positions. You will support the head coach, organize practices, and help ensure a safe, well-managed program.

Starting date is immediate. Candidates must have First Aid/CPR certification, knowledge of swimming, and the ability to meet WIAA age requirements. This is a part-time coaching role with duties and parent communications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to carry out duties as directed by the Principal, Athletic Director, and District policies.
• Knowledge of sport techniques, and ability to teach these skills to secondary school student-athletes.
• Valid First Aid and CPR/AED or ability to obtain before season start.
• Ability to meet WIAA age requirements for coaches.
• Organizational skills to ensure a well-managed program.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in carrying out responsibilities.
• Organize, supervise, and evaluate practice sessions.
• Implement a safety plan including proper techniques.
• Adhere to safety rules and have an emergency medical plan.
• Inform parents about attendance, discipline, and injuries.
