Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to carry out duties under the head coach and district policies.
• Knowledge of track and field skills, techniques, and safety.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain before season start.
• Meet WIAA age requirements for coaching staff.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and running practices.
• Supervise practice sessions and evaluate athletes.
• Implement safety plans and ensure proper technique.
• Schedule transportation and manage equipment and facilities.
• Communicate with parents about attendance and injuries.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in team planning.
• Uphold sportsmanship and adhere to league rules.
