Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Master’s degree preferred
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned
• ESL certification preferred or ability to obtain within one year of hire

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans aligned with the district’s curriculum, with written preparation as required.
• Deliver engaging instruction using strategies, activities, materials, and technology that address diverse learning styles per TEA guidelines.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Assess student learning styles and tailor instructional activities for maximum impact.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula and provide accommodations per IEPs.
• Work with colleagues to set instructional goals and methods aligned with district expectations.
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers to support student learning objectives.
