Qualifications

• ESL certification (preferred) or ability to obtain ESL certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans aligned with the district’s curriculum, demonstrating written preparation as required.
• Deliver engaging instruction using strategies, activities, materials, equipment, and technology addressing diverse learning styles and student needs.
• Integrate technology effectively into instruction to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Assess student learning styles and tailor instructional activities for maximum impact.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula and provide accommodations for students with IEPs.
• Work with colleagues to establish instructional goals aligned with district expectations.
• Supervise and provide direction to instructional aides and volunteers.
