Job summary

Hill 35 is seeking a dedicated CTE (Career and Technical Education) teacher to deliver rigorous, industry-aligned instruction across multiple pathways. You will design hands-on lessons, assess student development, and collaborate with CTSOs to promote leadership and community engagement.

The role requires a Texas teaching certificate, a commitment to inclusive education, and active involvement in professional growth activities. This is a full-time on-site position in the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the subject/level.
• Demonstrated competency in the assigned CTE area.
• ESL certification preferred for high school teachers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lessons aligned with district curriculum and TEA guidelines.
• Accommodate diverse learning styles in planning and delivery.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed.
• Plan goals/objectives with staff and supervise aides/volunteers.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Monitor student progress and report outcomes.
• Engage families and the community to support student growth.
• Participate in faculty meetings and district committees.
• Maintain district records and comply with retention schedules.
• Support CTSOs and student leadership activities.
