Job summary

Woodlawn Middle in Mebane, NC, seeks a 6-8 CTE Teacher for Business Education to join the ABSS district. The role oversees the Business Education/CTE Department and reports to the Principal, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule and a 10-month work year under the Teacher Salary Schedule plus supplement.

The candidate must hold or be eligible for the NC 760 Business Education license, and have relevant education/training in business education and related fields.

Qualifications

• 760 Business Education and related program areas as part of licensure/endorsement requirements.
• Broad list of related business and information technology subjects for credentialing.
• Experience or coursework in business education; two years with Bachelor’s or four years with Associate’s degree may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Constantly monitor the safety and well-being of students during hands-on activities.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment and classroom discipline.
• Meet and instruct assigned classes at designated times and locations.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate them to students.
• Provide instruction to meet diverse student needs and maintain records as required.
