Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and licensure in CTE/Business Education
• NC SBE licensure area exam or equivalent, plus completion of pre-service requirements
• Enrollment in EPP (Educational Preparation Program) is required
• CTE Restricted license requires a Bachelor's degree and related credentialing
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in past 5 years related to business/tech fields

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter and high expectations for student achievement
• Plan, organize, and teach a competency-based CTE program in Business Education
• Develop curriculum-based projects tied to business concepts
• Use data to assess progress and adjust instruction
• Maintain records and communicate with parents and community
• Coordinate CTE student activities and participate in PLCs
• Manage classroom and computer lab operations
• Foster safe, positive learning environment and partnerships with industry
