Job summary

KIPP Tulsa is seeking an Assistant Principal to join our leadership team. The role focuses on translating the school’s academic and cultural vision into daily execution by developing teachers, strengthening instruction, supporting student culture, and using data to drive action.

The Assistant Principal maintains a highly visible presence, coaches teachers, and partners with families to ensure rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and a joyful, safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in education, educational leadership, curriculum and instruction, or a related field preferred.
• Valid Oklahoma administrator certification or eligibility and willingness to obtain appropriate certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven academic vision and standards-aligned instruction across assigned areas.
• Coach teachers through regular observations, feedback, modeling, and professional development.
• Analyze assessment results and student work to identify gaps and drive targeted improvements.
• Support school culture with high expectations, belonging, and joyous, student-centered environments.

Education
