Job summary

KIPP Tulsa in Oklahoma is seeking an Assistant Principal to join the school leadership team and partner with the Principal in driving a safe, joyful, rigorous, and supportive learning environment. You will develop teachers, strengthen instruction, and use data to guide actions across schoolwide priorities.

The role emphasizes instructional leadership, robust coaching of teachers, and building strong relationships with students, families, and staff while maintaining high expectations for success

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Oklahoma administrator certification or eligibility.
• 3–5 years of successful experience as an educator with demonstrated leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to improve student outcomes and support diverse learners.
• Strong knowledge of standards-aligned instruction, assessment, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional leadership and schoolwide priorities.
• Coach and develop teachers through observation, feedback, and goal setting.
• Conduct classroom observations and learning walks to assess instructional quality.
• Develop adult culture and provide professional development aligned to school priorities.
• Analyze data and translate findings into actionable instructional plans.
• Support literacy, numeracy, and student culture initiatives to raise achievement.
