Job summary

KIPP Tulsa Assistant Principal role in north Tulsa seeks a strong instructional leader to partner with the Principal to create a safe, joyful, rigorous learning environment. You will develop teachers, strengthen instruction, and use data to drive action to improve student outcomes.

You will be highly visible in classrooms, model effective practices, coach educators, and ensure high expectations while building a culture of belonging and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in education or related field preferred.
• Valid Oklahoma administrator certification or eligibility.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of successful experience as an educator with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of standards-aligned curriculum, assessment, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to observe instruction, provide actionable feedback, coach educators, and support adult growth.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop teachers; oversee professional development.
• Monitor attendance, behavior, and student engagement; implement interventions.
