Job summary

KIPP Tulsa University Prep High School seeks a dynamic Principal to lead the academic and cultural vision of the campus, drive instructional excellence, and steward a joyful, equitable learning environment for all students.

You will recruit and develop teachers, implement data‑informed strategies, partner with families and the community, ensure safety and compliance, and guide strategic planning to advance college readiness and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Oklahoma administrator certification or eligibility.
• 3–5 years of successful instructional leadership experience.
• Proven track record of improving student achievement with underserved students.
• Strong knowledge of instruction, assessment, and data‑driven decision making.
• People leadership, coaching, and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional leadership and student achievement with a data‑driven vision.
• Observe classrooms, provide feedback, and develop instructional leaders.
• Oversee data to monitor progress and inform interventions.
• Build a joyful, safe, rigorous school culture rooted in belonging.
• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain a diverse, high‑performing team.
• Own development and execution of the school’s strategic plan and operations.
• Engage families and community partners to support student success.
