Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of subject areas as outlined in the MA Frameworks.
• Guide the learning process toward district and school curriculum goals.
• Monitor safety and well-being of students, especially during hands-on activities with lab equipment.
• Provide students with opportunities to become technologically competent.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and communicate these objectives to students.
• Use informal and formal assessments to identify strengths and weaknesses.
• Communicate progress to parents, including electronically.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and instructional effectiveness for all students.
