Job summary

General Nutrition Centers International (GNC) is hiring a Material Handler in Whitestown, IN to move products across the distribution center, load/unload trailers, and operate WMS and RF scanners. You will maintain PIT equipment certification and help ensure accurate inventory and timely material flow.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to GMP practices in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred 3+ months of experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
Ability to operate hand tools and forklifts.
Certification to operate PITs required.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong accuracy, punctuality, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Move product throughout the distribution center and assist with loading/unloading of trailers.
Use the warehouse management system (WMS) to record movements and inventory.
Maintain forklift certification and safely operate PIT equipment.
Pull, deliver, and stage materials for manufacturing and ensure correct delivery.
Post weights, shipping charges, and complete required paperwork (POs, BOLs, receipts).
Ensure inventory accuracy, stock materials, and report discrepancies.
