Job summary

General Nutrition Centers International (GNC) is seeking a Material Handler in our Indiana distribution center. The role involves moving product throughout the DC, loading and unloading trailers, and using the ERP/WMS to record inventory movements.

The position requires forklift operation certification, strong attention to accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required;_candidates must read, write, and understand English to follow procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; basic arithmetic and countability.
• 3+ months experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to become PIT-certified and operate forklifts safely.
• Able to read, write and comprehend simple instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Move products through the distribution center by loading/unloading trailers.
• Maintain forklift certification and safely operate PITs.
• Record movements in the ERP/WMS and ensure accurate inventory data.
• Inspect, stage, and transport materials to manufacturing areas as required.
• Document shipments, verify weights and charges, and ensure proper paperwork.
