Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift in Elk River, MN, performing warehouse duties across shipping, receiving, and production. You’ll adapt to daily tasks, pick/pack, and ensure accurate inventory using RF scanners and ERP systems.

The position is contract to hire with a 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule and pay rates from $20.50 to $25.50 per hour; onsite work. Forklift and pallet jack operation, and safe handling of materials are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced warehouse environments is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain organized work areas.
• Basic computer data entry and ERP usage for shipping/receiving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work in different warehouse departments as needed and adapt to changing assignments each day.
• Pick and pack orders accurately using pick sheets.
• Use RF scanners to locate, scan, and track inventory.
• Build pallets and break down boxes for storage or shipment.
• Operate pallet jacks to move materials and products.
• Drive reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and tuggers when qualified.
• Load and unload trucks using lifts or by hand.
• Assist with shipping/receiving at dock doors and staging products.
• Utilize Epicor ERP for shipping and receiving tasks.
