Job summary

Hearth & Home Technologies in Lake City, MN is seeking a Material Handler for the Shipping/Receiving 1st shift. The role operates forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials on/off docks, receives inbound freight via scanners, and prepares customer orders for timely delivery.

Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, with OT as needed. A 4x10 schedule (Mon–Thu) is offered, with overtime on Fridays, September–December. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Working with hands & finger dexterity.
• Wearing proper PPE & practicing safe work habits.
• Willing & able to be cross trained & multitask.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks
• Responsible for delivering material in a timely manner
• Use scanners and computers to receive incoming products and freight
• Prepare customer orders and verify quantities
• Must practice safety awareness
• Responsible for receiving vendor materials and returned goods
• Must be willing to be part of a team
