Jackson Walker is seeking a Marketing Events Intern to assist with the planning and execution of firm-hosted client events, webinars, and marketing initiatives. You will support research, attendee management, and on-site activities while collaborating with attorneys, professionals, and vendors.

Ideal candidates are current students or recent grads with coursework in marketing/PR and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Current college student or recent graduate within two years.
• Coursework in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
• Prior internship, work, volunteer, or academic experience involving event planning, marketing, hospitality, customer service, or related activities preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Events Managers with planning and coordination of firm-hosted client events and external business development events.
• Conduct venue and vendor research and compile information to support event planning and selection.
• Prepare event themes, décor, invitations, promotional items, giveaways, nametags, handouts, and other materials.
• Coordinate event-related services with external vendors under the Events Managers' direction.
• Provide on-site event support and post-event reporting as needed.
• Maintain attendee lists, RSVPs, and event data in the marketing automation platform.
