Job summary

KONGSBERG is seeking a marketing/event coordinator to support administration and logistics for national and international exhibitions. You will collaborate with marketing teams across business units and subsidiaries to execute about 60 events per year, promoting our solutions to current and future customers.

You will coordinate registrations, shipping, budgeting, on-site operations, and troubleshooting, working closely with the Senior Project/Event Coordinator.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on experience in event coordination, logistics or operations.
• Proficiency in MS Teams and Lists plus other project management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to stay calm under pressure during live events.
• Ability to lift/move event materials and work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Booking/registrations: Ensure successful exhibitor/visitor registrations, badging, large volume hotel bookings and confirmations and onsite support.
• Shipping & Inventory: Assist in transportation, tracking, licensing and storage of event materials and equipment.
• Budget Tracking: Assist in managing logistical budgets, tracking expenses, processing vendor invoices and internal cost distributions.
• Security and Transportation: Assist in security and transportation solutions for senior leadership and VIP guests.
• On-Site Operations: Support and/or direct setup, execution, and dismantling of exhibition spaces.
• Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for technical and logistical problems during the exhibition, making quick decisions.
