Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience required.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Typing with high accuracy and strong grammar essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication and legal terminology knowledge.
• Experience drafting legal documents and understanding court filings.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing case assignments and examine claims, pleadings and supporting records for consistency, legal sufficiency and deadlines.
• Calendar management for assigned caseload.
• Coordinating with support services, opposing firms and courts.
• Drafting legal documents for review and use by attorneys.
• Motion preparation and exhibit identification.
• Document productions and redactions.
• Preparation of witness/exhibit lists and trial binders.
• Retention of expert witnesses and preparation of indexes.
• Organizing and maintaining case files and electronic document management.
