Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy civil litigation team in Miami. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of civil litigation experience and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, managing files, organizing discovery, coordinating depositions, and ensuring deadlines are met. Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and litigation software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' civil litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court rules.
• Experience managing complex litigation files and large productions.
• Proficient in preparing discovery and trial materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and DM systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys through all phases of civil litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
• Maintain and organize litigation files (electronic and physical).
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence.
• Review, organize, and summarize documents, deposition transcripts, and discovery materials.
• Prepare deposition summaries and case management reports.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial logistics.
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.
• Monitor litigation deadlines and attorney calendars.
• Assist with document production, exhibit preparation, and courtroom support.
• Perform electronic court filings in Florida state and federal courts.
• Support attorneys with additional litigation-related responsibilities as needed.
