Job summary

WOB Bar & Kitchen in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare food according to recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This role offers an hourly wage and opportunities to grow within the company.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in varied kitchen positions, strong teamwork, and excellent hygiene. You must follow safety guidelines and be able to work in a high-energy environment at World of Beer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook.
• Possess strong teamwork skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting with high energy and maintain a fun environment.
• Must communicate clearly and effectively.
• Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire or as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and consistently cook according to WOB recipes, portions, and standards.
• Follow the prep list created by Kitchen management.
• Label and stock ingredients for easy access and organization.
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Store all food and station items properly and safely.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure timely dish preparation.
• Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness at all times.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
