Los Tios is seeking a Line Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare and cook menu items, maintain stations, and ensure safe operation of grills, fryers, ovens, and other equipment. A strong focus on teamwork and positive energy on shift is essential.

This role supports a busy kitchen, with responsibilities including setup, stocking, and closing duties, while maintaining quality and presentation standards for guest meals.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate knives, cooking utensils, and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Frequent exposure to high temperatures, open flames, hot surfaces, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Exposure to steam, smoke, grease, food odors, and airborne cooking particles.
• Moderate to high noise levels from kitchen equipment, ventilation systems, and surrounding activity.
• Work in confined or crowded kitchen spaces with frequent movement of other employees.
• Food Handler certified, or willing to obtain certification upon hire

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines
• Set up, stock and maintain assigned cooking stations before, during and after service
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly including grills, fryers, ovens and other cooking equipment
• Assist with cleaning, restocking and closing duties as assigned
