Job summary

Inverness Country Club is seeking a dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role prepares high-quality menu items in a fast-paced kitchen, following recipes, and ensuring food safety and presentation standards.

You will set up stations, stock ingredients, and collaborate with the culinary and Food & Beverage team to deliver timely service for members and guests. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred to support busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions consistently.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely and consistent manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with food preparation, inventory organization, and kitchen closing duties.
• Properly label, store, and rotate food products.
• Work collaboratively with culinary and Food & Beverage team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
