Job summary

JCMLiving, a property management company in North Jersey, is seeking an experienced Leasing Specialist to join our team. You will welcome prospective residents, conduct engaging property tours, follow up on leads, and close leases while delivering outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of residential leasing experience, strong sales and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of residential leasing experience.
• Strong leasing, sales, marketing and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and experience managing leads and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive leasing success: greet prospects, tour properties, follow up on leads, overcome objections, and close leases.
• Create exceptional first impressions: respond to inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Build resident relationships and foster a welcoming, well-managed community.
• Handle lease preparation, administrative tasks, and lead management.
• Support financial performance with rent collection follow-up as needed.
• Coordinate service requests and plan resident events to build community.
• Collaborate with management to maintain an attractive apartment community.

• Drive Leasing Success: Welcome prospective residents, conduct engaging property tours, follow up on leads, overcome objections, and close leases.
• Create Exceptional First Impressions: Respond to phone calls and inquiries with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a customer-first attitude.
• Build Strong Resident Relationships: Foster positive relationships with residents and help create a welcoming, well-managed community.
• Keep Operations Running Smoothly: Handle lease preparation, administrative tasks, computer systems, and lead management.
• Support Financial Performance: Assist with rent collection and follow up on outstanding balances as needed.
• Coordinate Service Requests: Help ensure resident concerns and maintenance requests are communicated and addressed promptly.
• Bring the Community to Life: Help plan and execute resident events that build engagement and a true sense of community.
• Be a Team Player: Work closely with management to maintain an attractive, organized, and smoothly operating apartment community.

What You Bring to the Team

Required:

• A minimum of 2 years of Residential leasing experience.
• Strong leasing, sales, marketing, and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and experience managing leads and administrative responsibilities.
