Job summary

InterSolutions in Houston, TX is seeking a Leasing Professional to greet prospective residents, give tours, and match housing needs with available apartments. This entry-level opportunity offers paid training, quick onboarding, and a path to permanent placement in the growing multifamily industry.

You will handle leasing paperwork, deposits, and move-in processes, learn Yardi and other leasing software, and grow customer-service skills in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Outlook, Excel; social media exposure.
• Experience with leasing software (Yardi, Entrata, MRI, Onesite) is a plus.
• Ability to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and give tours while determining housing needs and closing leads.
• Assist new residents with leasing paperwork, applications, and background checks.
• Collect security deposits, rent and other move-in charges.
• Explain lease and community policies to residents.
• Follow up with leads that did not lease.
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting and adding last-minute touches.
• Seek new residents with creative marketing techniques.
• Manage lease renewals and retention efforts.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries.
