Job summary

Emerge is seeking an experienced Leasing Professional in Houston to join our property management team. You will greet prospects, qualify leads, tour the community, and guide applicants through the leasing process from tour to move-in.

This role blends sales, customer service and marketing to lease apartments and build relationships. Requirements include 1–3 years in property management, strong communication, and the ability to work day shifts.

Qualifications

• Greet prospects and qualify leads using guest cards
• Tour and present the community to prospective residents
• Close sales and manage leasing/renewal process from start to finish
• Maintain guest cards and assist with applications and deposits, per procedures

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects professionally using guest cards in our Lead Management Software
• Tour and present the community in a compelling way and assisting prospective residents with finding the right apartment home
• Conduct all functions necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining show rooms, and any follow-up necessary
• Manage the leasing/renewal process from start to finish
• Respond to telephone and internet inquiries from residents and prospects to schedule tours
• Collaborate with the property maintenance team to ensure prompt responses and completion of resident service requests
• Assist prospects with applications and deposits, adhering to procedures and Fair Housing requirements
• Keep an updated availability report and process applications with checks and verification
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by promptly resolving issues
