Job summary

Kay Apartment Communities in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Leasing Specialist for a 362-unit community. You will be the first contact for prospective residents, conduct tours, process applications, and help achieve occupancy goals.

Requirements include 2+ years in customer service or sales, high school diploma, strong communication, and weekend availability; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• No previous property management experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete Kay’s sales training program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and effectively communicate with prospective and current residents, guests, visitors and staff.
• Handle all incoming leads (phone, email, walk-in) and follow set procedures and script; qualify and present solutions.
• Conduct apartment and community tours and close the lease; process applications and compile lease documents.
• Deliver a superior resident experience by building relationships and addressing resident needs and concerns.
• Meet and exceed occupancy and resident retention goals.
• Maintain records and documents; manage money handling, data entry, and resident files.
