Job summary

The Learning and Development Facilitator at USA GPC Genuine Parts Company plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality training across instructor-led, virtual, onsite, and travel-based programs to build team capability and drive business performance.

Working with L&D managers, SMEs, and business partners, you will adapt delivery to diverse audiences, ensure inclusive learning environments, and use feedback to continuously improve the experience while aligning with program goals and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Learning & Development, Communications, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Three or more years of training delivery, facilitation, adult education, sales training, operations training, or related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate engaging in-person and virtual learning for small and large groups.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, learner engagement, assessment techniques, and classroom management.
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using virtual learning platforms, presentation tools, and an LMS; Workday Learning preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed to deliver training at NAPA locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, onsite, and travel-based training programs for small and large groups.
• Apply adult learning principles, facilitation techniques, and classroom-management practices to create inclusive, interactive, and learner-centered experiences.
• Adapt facilitation style, pacing, examples, and activities to meet the needs of varied audiences, skill levels, and learning environments.
• Use approved training materials, learning technologies, and facilitation tools to reinforce learning objectives and support on-the-job application.
• Assess learner understanding throughout training and provide timely, constructive feedback and coaching.
• Partner with L&D Managers, Instructional Designers, SMEs, and business stakeholders to prepare for and deliver learning solutions aligned to business needs and performance expectations.
• Support training communications, participant engagement, scheduling, materials preparation, and onsite or virtual logistics as assigned.
• Build productive relationships with learners, facilitators, leaders, and business partners while representing NAPA professionally.
• Prepare for training sessions by reviewing materials, testing technology, confirming logistics, and ensuring readiness of learning environments and participant resources.
• Maintain consistent delivery quality by following established facilitation standards, program requirements, and approved learning materials.
• Accurately document attendance, completion, participation, and other required training records in the LMS or other designated systems.
• Identify delivery risks, learner barriers, technology issues, and content gaps; communicate observations and recommended solutions to the L&D team.
• Gather learner feedback and review survey results, assessment outcomes, participation data, and business feedback to improve learner experience and training effectiveness.
• Share insights from delivery sessions with L&D Managers and Instructional Designers to support content updates and program improvements.
• Stay current on adult learning, facilitation practices, virtual delivery methods, and approved learning technologies.
