Job summary

The Pittsburgh Marriott City Center is seeking a proactive sales professional to manage accounts and drive revenue across rooms, food and beverage, and event space. You will solicit new group sales accounts, entertain clients, and coordinate with hotel departments to deliver exceptional service and exceed targets.

Strong communication, prospecting, and presentation skills are essential. Knowledge of Marriott CI/TY system preferred; you must be able to work on a regular schedule and collaborate

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with hotel systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals.
• Maximize revenue by selling all hotel facets (rooms, F&B, events).
• Coordinate with departments to service accounts and close sales.
• Prepare persuasive presentations for prospective clients and entertain on-site visits.
• Maintain client relationships and provide clear direction to hotel teams.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to generate new business.
