Job summary

Ferretti Search is seeking an energetic Recruiter to support a fast-paced team during a period of high-volume hiring. You will focus on candidate outreach, initial phone screens, and coordinating the onboarding process.

Ideal candidates enjoy talking with people, are highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a busy environment. Degree not required; background in HR or recruiting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, administrative, or other relevant professional experience preferred.
• Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of phone calls.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills are not required.
• Comfortable learning new technology and applicant tracking systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Energetic, dependable, and eager to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment where priorities may change quickly.
• Recruiting experience is preferred, but candidates with HR backgrounds will be considered if they are comfortable working in a role focused primarily on recruiting rather than traditional HR responsibilities.
• Degree not required.
• Must be able to successfully complete required background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Contact prospective and previously identified candidates by phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Conduct initial candidate screening calls and confirm interest, availability, qualifications, and other required information.
• Verify and update candidate information, including contact information and other employment-related details.
• Enter, transfer, and maintain candidate information within spreadsheets and recruiting systems.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process to ensure they receive necessary information and understand next steps.
• Assist with coordination and communication related to candidate travel and work assignments.
• Answer basic candidate questions and elevate more complex questions when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and organized candidate records.
• Support recruiters with high-volume hiring projects and changing priorities.
• Learn and utilize the company's applicant tracking system and other recruiting technology.
• Complete standard company training to understand the organization, its services, and internal processes.
• As experience grows, potentially assist with sourcing candidates, responding to applicants, and additional recruiting responsibilities.
