Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Tucson, AZ is seeking a part-time Coach to deliver science-based workouts and create a high-energy, inclusive member experience. You will engage groups, support member retention, and collaborate with the studio team to meet sales goals.

The role requires 1 year of group fitness experience, current Orangetheory certification, and strong customer service and communication skills. Flexible weekends/holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of group fitness training or personal training experience.
• Current Orangetheory Fitness approved fitness certification required (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent).
• Prior experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or a related client-facing role preferred (0–1 year).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an engaging, high-energy group workout experience for all members each class session.
• Provide a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating experience reflecting Orangetheory brand standards.
• Accurately complete and maintain all required member documentation and records using company systems.
• Participate in scheduled team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
• Conduct studio tours, communicate membership options, and respond to questions regarding programs and services.
• Partner with studio team members to create a seamless, positive experience for prospective and current members.
• Support achievement of individual and team sales goals through outreach, follow-ups, and lead generation activities.
• Build relationships within the local community to increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
• Support marketing initiatives, including social media engagement and studio activations.
• Maintain a clean, organized studio environment in alignment with company standards.
• Communicate effectively with members and prospects across multiple channels.
• Process sales transactions with integrity and accuracy.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and escalate issues when appropriate.
