The YMCA of Greater Charlotte is seeking a part-time Group Fitness Instructor in Charlotte, NC to lead safe and engaging classes on land and water, aligned with our mission. You will design routines, engage members, and contribute to growth and retention of the wellness programs.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of teaching experience, current ACE or AEA certifications, and strong communication skills. Flexibility with hours and a focus on safety are essential.

Formación

• Certification required: ACE Group Exercise or AEA Water Fitness (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years (300 hours) of group fitness teaching experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible hours and reliability.
• Proficient with basic fitness equipment and safety guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver safe, engaging group fitness classes.
• Keep attendance records and meet minimum targets.
• Teach at least 2 classes per week, with substitutes as needed.
• Maintain equipment and group exercise area.
• Participate in community outreach and staff meetings.
