Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking Freight Handlers to keep freight moving safely at our Atlanta, GA service center. You’ll load, unload, stack, and secure shipments with precision, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and help maintain a clean, safe dock in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements: high school diploma or GED, ability to read safety rules, forklift qualification, and strong communication. We offer full benefits, paid time off, a 401(k), and performance bonuses where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Forklift driver qualification required.
• Hazardous materials training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, stack, and secure freight with accuracy to prevent damage.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, and other equipment safely.
• Maintain dock flow and keep areas clean and hazard-free.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to meet throughput goals.
• Follow safety rules and regulatory requirements at all times.
