Job summary

Mary Free Bed is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join as a Float PT, providing coverage across our 6th floor and other inpatient units as needed. You’ll work with Ortho, Trauma, Amputation and General Rehabilitation teams, gaining broad clinical exposure while supporting patient care and staff coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAPTE and licensure in the state of practice.
• Possesses and maintains BLS certification to meet department/program protocol.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient condition and establish goals in collaboration with patient and family and treatment team.
• Develop and execute individual treatment plans compliant with State of Michigan licensure and PT scope of practice.
• Communicate and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate physical therapy into overall care.
• Document patient progress through evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries according to policy.
