Job summary

Labcorp in Bronx & Upper Manhattan, NY is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods across all ages, with travel to additional sites as needed.

You will be part of a patient-focused team, perform accurate data entry, and support billing processes while delivering excellent service. Schedule is Monday–Friday with varied hours and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as phlebotomist.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
