Job summary

STIHL Inc. is seeking a driven Commercial Solutions Specialist to join our field-based sales team in the Boise area. This role focuses on building dealer and commercial customer relationships, conducting hands-on demos, and promoting gas and battery-powered STIHL solutions.

You will work with Territory Managers to identify end users, deliver in-field training, and close sales. Travel up to 75% is required; relocation to Boise is possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sales prospecting experience preferred.
• Travel may be up to 75%.
• Must be a self-starter and able to perform well with minimal supervision.
• Spanish language skills preferred but not required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to champion and utilize OneCRM and SAP as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation delivery.

Responsibilities

• Visit strategic commercial and municipal accounts to increase sales via demonstrations, training and feature-benefit comparisons.
• Identify and prospect new commercial accounts to convert to STIHL customers.
• Develop and implement product training programs and contact potential customers (landscapers, loggers, contractors, municipalities).
• Attend and support STIHL events, training, and dealer events to promote STIHL products and services.
• Maintain CRM and monthly field reports; provide field input on competitor and product performance.
