Job summary

The Denver Art Museum is seeking an Events Supervisor, Part-Time to ensure successful museum events through hands-on operational oversight and cross-department coordination. You will act as the primary contact for internal and approved external events, managing logistics from setup to teardown.

Ideal candidates will have strong customer service experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently on a flexible schedule while upholding safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• High level of organizational skills to maintain consistent interactions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse groups.
• Ability to self-direct and work independently.
• Flexibility to work on a schedule based on museum needs.
• Non-profit environment experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience preferred.
• DAM Safety/Security and Customer Service training in-house curriculum required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external events and coordinate with departments and vendors.
• Oversee event support staff during execution (custodial, facilities, etc.).
• Coordinate with catering for logistics, setup, execution and tear-down.
• Ensure events comply with museum safety and security policies and codes.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, staff and the public for successful events.
• Post-event data management in EMS and CMMS systems.
