Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in Missouri’s Saint Charles area seeks an energetic Promotions Assistant to help plan and execute property promotions and events in line with marketing objectives and guest experience.

You will collaborate with property teams, vendors, and Marketing Shared Services, assist with marketing channels, and help gather guest photos/releases for winners. Flexibility for weekends/holidays and ability to handle pressure are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning of property promotions and events in conjunction with property marketing strategies and plans.
• Coordinate the effective execution of promotions to optimize participation and guest response.
• Work with Marketing Shared Services to effectively program desired promotions.
• Interface with pertinent property departments to ensure the effective implementation of promotions and events.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with current and potential outside vendors.
• Assist with the use of marketing channels to advertise promotions and events to targeted guests and prospective guests.
• Coordinate property resources to be utilized in the implementation of promotions and events.
• Assist with the gathering of guest photos and signed releases for promotion winners, jackpot winners, etc
• Must possess high energy and be detail oriented.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must work well under pressure and handle difficult circumstances with ease.
• Acts as emcee for various events in front of large crowds both on and off property.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding promotions and events.
• Other marketing and promotions duties as assigned.
