Job summary

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN is seeking a Coordinator of Events and Community Relations to plan and oversee fundraising activities, assist with marketing for events, and help advance the organization’s mission through strong stakeholder relationships.

You will join a collaborative Development team, work varied hours, set up and break down events, and drive revenue targets while promoting Easterseals’ programs and public image.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years in nonprofit, fundraising, event planning, marketing & communications.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs; pass a TB test, drug screen and background checks.
• Ability to conceive, plan, and execute overlapping special events with focus on fundraising outcomes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and donor research.
• Willingness to be hands-on in a demanding, high-energy role with varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate year-round events and third-party events as assigned.
• Plan and execute event logistics including setup and teardown.
• Help maintain fundraising margins and meet revenue targets.
• Support relationship building and stewardship of key stakeholders.
• Assist with marketing and public relations to educate the public about Easterseals programs and fundraising events.
• Represent the organization professionally with media, donors, and partners.
