Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services is hiring part-time event staff in Berkeley, CA. You will check bags, enforce access control and ensure guest safety while delivering excellent customer service at sports venues and events.

Responsibilities include bag searches, ticket verification, ID checks, and directing crowds. The role requires 18+, HS diploma, background check, and willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Manage venue entry: verify tickets, wristbands, IDs and direct guests.
• Screen guests at entry using bag searches, hand wand or metal detector.
• Protect guests, staff and venue assets by monitoring for security breaches.
• Provide directions and assist guests to enhance their entertainment experience.
