Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Event Staff to support college sports events, concerts, and festivals. Pay is $22/hr for college sports events and $18/hr for all other events, with weekly pay, paid training, and flexible part-time or full-time schedules.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, directing foot traffic, scanning tickets, and ensuring clean, safe venues while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test; may require Driver’s Record check.
• Be professional, articulate and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Directs entry into each venue, may collect/scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic.
• Demonstrates understanding of policies and regulations of different venues, facilities and events.
• Greets guests warmly when they arrive and thanks them at exit with a personal touch.
• Provides guests with directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Interacts with guests with a friendly tone and natural speaking voice.
